    • Although Casey mentioned in her Director Notes that TRUTH is essential (and it is) , don't kick the play and mischief to the curb. Find that balance and  find these characters and is what will make these scenes work. ENJOY!

  • June 7th: 10:30am

    • UNAVAILABLE FOR LIVE CALLBACKS?: You should still submit. Live callbacks are not a determining factor. It’s also the week leading into a holiday so we knew we would be missing some folks. I will figure something out (zoom callback, more video, etc.). Please list these conflicts on the actor contact sheet so we can keep track.

    • You can frame your video from waist up ( or however you feel most comfortable). Important that we can see your eyes always.

  • The information below does NOT pertain to Equity EPA video submissions

    • You can submit on Breakdown Express (Actors Access okay as well!)  in order to upload future audition video.

    • Please keep in mind that these videos will be shared with my Director as well, so Eco Cast is the most efficient way to send all of your material (and not worry about emails getting lost)

    • If Eco Cast is not feasible, we prefer Vimeo, Youtube and Dropbox so no direct downloads (as with WeTransfer) are needed.

      • If you cannot submit via Eco Cast, then please submit all of the required material and your picture and resume via email Video@Florescasting.com

  • Videos will be viewed and Invitations for live Director Callback auditions (scheduled for Monday, June 28th) will start to go out as of June 21st

    • Auditions will be in La Mirada and are by appointment.

  • Producer Callback will be on Tuesday, June 29th in La Mirada.

    • Appointments will most likely be given in person during the Director Callback on June 28th.

DIRECTOR’S NOTE:

Clue is actively seeking diverse theatre workers. This diversity includes, but is not limited to different communities, socioeconomic backgrounds, genders, ethnic and racial backgrounds, sexual orientations, body types, ages, and ability. Looking for fearless actors with a great love of comedy. A spirit of mischief and madness welcome. A generous ensemble of unique actors with a collective “yes and” vibe. Truth essential to the comedy; these characters are literally in a life and death circumstance.

WADSWORTH – Late 30’s to 50. A traditional British butler in every sense: uptight, formal and “by the book.” Wadsworth is the driving force in the play.

MISS SCARLET – 35-50. A dry, sardonic D.C. Madam, more interested in secrets than sex.

MRS. PEACOCK – 40’s to 50’s The wealthy spouse of a Senator. A bit batty, neurotic, and quick to hysteria.

MRS. WHITE – 40’s to 50’s Morbid and tragic. Mrs. White may or may not be the murderer of five ex-husbands.

COLONEL MUSTARD – 40’s to 50’s. A puffy, pompous, dense, blow-hard of a Colonel.

PROFESSOR PLUM -- 40’s to 50’s . Arrogant, academic and egotistic.

MR. GREEN – Late 20’s to 30’s. A timid, yet officious, rule follower who is awfully anxious until true identities are revealed, and we see a much more together type.

YVETTE – 25-35. A loyal and sexy, French Maid.

ENSEMBLE 1

30-45 THE COOK – Gruff with a threatening presence. (Alive and Dead). SINGING TELEGRAM MESSENGER - A tap dancer with a heart of gold. (Alive and Dead). AUXILIARY SCARLET - The back of Miss Scarlet during a scene of theatrical trickery.

ENSEMBLE 2:

30-50. MR. BODDY – A slick, Frank Sinatra, film noir-esque type. (Alive and Dead). THE MOTORIST - A benign passerby who rings the wrong doorbell. (Alive and Dead). CHIEF OF POLICE - A cop who helps to save the day.

ENSEMBLE 3:

30-50. THE "BROKEN DOWN CAR" COP -- A hard working, blue collar cop (Alive and Dead). BACKUP COP - Backup for the chief. AUXILIARY MUSTARD - The back of Colonel Mustard during a scene of theatrical trickery
